My husband is going deep into his 30's. Tomorrow is his last day of being 31. The man has a small little streak of white hair which is starting to make it's way on the left side of the front of his hair. He's tried to get me to buy him just for men. But he once had a self dying disaster in our bathroom at our old house which involved him getting hair dye on our wood cabinet and then attempting to clean it with a bleach product. Only my Rosas would do that. Since then he has been banned from dye. Personally I like his hair.









My husband is slowly heading to his "George Connery look".  I wish he would understand that it's ok for men to age. One of my fears about living in Vegas is that soon I'm going to have all these wrinkles because the weather here is so dry. He doesn't have to worry about anything like that. Lucky.

" The hold music is so bad I wanted to kill my self" I once had a customer say that to me. Too bad I have no control what so ever when it comes to what customers hear on the other end of the phone but if I did these would be the top ten songs I would totally play and why.


1. Woe is Me covering Katy Perry's Last Friday Night because "strippers clothes are in the pool" is a lyric every realtor, homeowner and angry old person needs to hear.. "skinny dipping in the dark"  needs to be heard as well.


2. Falling Down by Atreyu. All people need to be reminded "We're all dyin' in the end". This song will refresh their memory. It may even help them not to yell at a Rep.


3. Easy E's Boyz in the hood. I can just see their faces as they hear "coz the boys in the hood are always hard  you come talkin that trash, well pull ya card knowin nutin in life but to be legit" haha.


4. Limp Bizkit's Eat you Alive because every customer should hear the song Fred wrote after Britney Spears broke his heart. "hey you misses i don't know what the fuck your name is i'm drawn to you" I guess "i'd love to sniff on them panties now" never got her attention but I bet you it would get the customers.


5. No Hard Feelings by Bloodhound gang. Cause seriously it "Ain't my job
To fuck you on your birthday " or any other day of your shit life so don't be fuckin rude. "Maybe it ain't your birthday but then again Ya know i wouldn't give a fuck" 


6. Beastie Boys- Sabotage since 85% of the calls are all victims of everything in life. "Listen all y'all, it's a sabotage"

7. Know your Enemy by Rage Against the Machine because callers need to remember it's not the rep on the phone. We only wanna help you. They can hear De La Rocha yell "Compromise, conformity, assimilation, submission, Ignorance, hypocrisy, brutality, the elite All of which are American dreams " and then remind them "Know your enemy!"


8. Chingo Bling's Put my Chanclas on. He always makes me laugh and sometimes I just wanna say "Me vale madre " to some people.

Many many years ago the hub use to sing in a band...Mr. Lead singer...lol.. The picture above is of him and his band,,he kinda looks like Diana Ross son... ahaha. Not really but I know when he sees this it will bug him. Now he's stuck being my husband and being bothered, nagged and irritated by me every single day of his life... Til death do us part right?


When he's around this age he will probably try the band thing again..

My inner Valley girl ghettoness

So the only year I ever really wanted to go to Coachella was when Rage against the Machine played. Sadly my plans to go didn't work out. I probably would have died from heat and alcohol poisoning. Seeing video of last night's performance just reminded me of when I was a teenager and how much I loved both of those songs and hanging out with Judy.

We have known each other since 3rd grade. Now we are in our late 20's. Which I think still shocks us because being in 7th feels like it wasn't so long ago. Being mom's, working and paying bills is something we do now. The awesome days of being teenagers are way long gone. =( I have been living 300 miles away for the past 10 years but we still love each other the same. Tomorrow the BBF turns 28....yes 2 years away from the dreadful dirty 30


It's all good though I'm sure we will handle our 30's just fine...

Viva Las Vegas

Finally I got to do my photo shoot that I won a few months ago. It was so nice to have my hair and make up done. I sent my hub a text before the shoot saying " I'm not gonna lie I actually feel pretty right now" lol. Grasoso Photography is awesome! Danny and Veronica make you feel really comfortable and are super nice. I recommend them to anybody who wants to do a photo shoot.


 

Today's lesson

It's safe to say that today me and Judy realized our lifes are quickly heading towards this....
True we aren't even in our dirty 30's yet but we are hoping our nursing home will have the excitement of the photo below.




Our babies (her 11yr old David and my 11 yr old Bryan) are quickly growing. This is causing us to feel old and think of our nursing home days. It's also making us hope they don't dress like this in the next couple of years.




There is no need for them to ever wear their pants this way.


Soon we will have to teach them...
