What if they start talking to you?

My son lives in a Lego filled room..they are everywhere. See once kids get older legos get smaller and smaller. My son is one of few older kids that has patience for hours to sit there and build things. He knows when ever one tiny piece is missing and he has learned to improvise if he doesn't have one that he needs. He modifies them by painting them. His fav are these...

Forget websters dictionary this is his. He's got so many legos and so many ideas for them. The moment he gets cash he thinks of legos. I'm proud that the last time he got $20 he donated it to his cousin from his dads side who had suffered a tragedy in his family. Other then that he's a saver for legos.

A few weeks ago he made a cape out of paper it was tiny and if you feel it the cape feels like it's cloth. You wouldnt really know it's paper unless he told you. My husband was trippin out that it was paper and at his scissor cutting skills.

The other day I asked him. What would he do if his legos became alive and started fighting with their lightsabers and blasters. Of course he didn't say he would get freaked out but I don't think the thought of them coming to life has ever crossed his imagination mind. LoL. I love my baby and his Lego addiction even though stepping on them sometimes can be a bitch and vacuuming his room with caution isn't always fun. Then we also have my husband who does this like this with the legos as a joke.

In the words of Rise Against "I won't believe the lies that hide the truth!"

I asked what I should blog about next on my FB status yesterday and my bro in law suggested Politics. Cez knows I never talk about politics. Why he suggested it? Who knows. Anyways this was my response to him

" Politics what? LOL yes please tax the rich and everybody stop complaining about Obama everything was a mess before bush left. Yes the president we had who didn't even know how to answer the phone and was a alcoholic."

Talk about embarrassing he ran the country for 8 flippin years and is rich. Pero when it comes to answering the phone that fool vale verge. Wow his last summer as president I remember gas being about $4.45 a gallon... Hmmm I wonder why.

Yes Bush was once a alcoholic I think he even got into a drunk driving accident. Recovering alcoholic? Are they suppose to drink? I later posted this on my FB status..

" Yea everyone was expecting a miracle from Obama in 4 years but bush had 8 yrs to make the mess"

You can't expect miracles in months out of a 8 year fuck up. You just can't.

45,000 people die in this land of the free every year from lack of health care. How is the country suppose to have money when we spend more money on military then any other country. Don't even get me started on those pensions some get. 1.8 billion is spent a week on Iraq alone. People bitch about health care but health care companies spend over 1.4 million a day to defeat health care reform. So good luck. At our rate we will live in a world with out seafood by 2048. And Thank God every time you drink clean water because 6k children die a day from drinking dirty water. Bush didn't cause all this but bad leadership around the world has lead to all this. We have yet to learn to choose our leaders wisely that's for sure.

This just made me laugh.

Poor child who knows how many more he scared.

Making sure he was all around secure was expensive too.

Remember his bff the face shooter??

Is he?

My team for 2012! Not!!!!!!!!!! Creepy hair guy has filed bankruptcy protection how many times??? And the tall one knows more about surviving in the wild then about politics. Oh Geez! I almost forgot they have both had reality shows. You have better luck voting for Snooki & Pauly D.

These 2 all the way for 2012... Hahahahahahaha. They aren't gay bashers and don't have creepy cult followers.

Shove it!

I started off my morning with my AuX cable plugged in listening to "my own summer " by Deftones... Listening to Chino scream "SHoVE IT". Who would have guessed I spoke with 3 people today who I totally wanted to scream " SHoVE IT! " at.

I work in a customer care center and we answer calls from mostly HoA members, realtors, bank and property managers. I've heard tons of things. From I think my neighbors are criminals to this building is falling apart from someone who I believe had memory loss. Because I can't be rude it makes things challenging sometimes today my first challenge...

Ok I know what the fuck it is.. My bank offers it but guess what I prefer ACH direct debt over signing up to have the bank cut a check and send it out for me..I know how it works.. I don't need for a lonely lady to talk to me for 16 minutes about it how it works. Especially when i've told you how it works and u keep repeating your self.. I told you who the check needs to be made out to but you keep arguing with me...hello I work here I know who u need to make the check out too.. Ahhhhh

Next every HOA is different... Some nerds most likely got together when your community was built and decided hey guess what u can't paint your house pink, you can't own more then one 25lb dog and you can't park on the streets at all. This is all done to preserve your community and it's value. You don't follow your rules guess what bitches it's off to Violation then fine central you go! So on to my other insane loco of the day. This man called gave me his name then said you pass this message on to Kathy.. After that he went on a psycho rant about why he would not be moving his trailer. Then said "you get it! Good bye!" now I'm secretly hoping his trailer gets towed =].

We deal with accounts and money.. We are not a bank but we still have to follow rules about how much info we can disclose to a caller. If your not the account holder I cannot change the billing address because you are telling me it's in my best interest to do so if I want to get paid. Would American Express let you do that? I don't think so asshole so neither can we! What happens is if the account holder is not responsible to change their address they won't get their statement and off to the loving collections company they go till they can clear their account. Sorry.... No not really I'm not sorry and won't apologize. This guy got soooooo mad when I told him I couldn't make the change he wanted he started telling me how he had a business and would go to hell to collect his money if he had too and how it was very unprofessional that I would not change the address. I wanted to say we have collection companies who do that for us. I repeated a million times that I couldn't. Thank God he finally hung up!

Not too bad for answering 76 calls today.

More Spawn?

This weekend my husband brought up the subject of dun dun dun... Another Child! I think his biological clock may be ticking. Does that happen to dudes? When I met my "till death do us part or the nursing home which ever comes first" he clearly said " I don't want more kids". I knew I wanted one more but it wasn't on my immediate to do list. I remember him telling me once "if we have a little girl she will be real pretty won't she?" that's when I figured he might change his " i don't want kids" attitude. Lucky for me he can't knock me up for another 4 years since I'm on a 5 year plan (mirena) you know the IUD that can puncture through you if not placed correctly. The things us women come in danger with for birth control.

I always wanted 3 kids but I was hoping the last one would be adopted. My poor hub told me his reason for wanting one more and it made sense. But for right now we will cruise on the IUD lifetime because I feel my 3 year old is still to little to have another spawn invade her territory. Plus i think im also still a little traumatized from my prego OBGYN visit when my hubs got caught by my doctor playing with this.

Our daughter is a diva for sure. Who knows what we would get our self into if our next creation was another girl. I also volunteered to be a surrogate for my friend Joey if he ever decides to settle down and have a baby. But that's a whole different blog story.

For right now I'd like to keep my female insides looking like this.

Yes Cancer Fuck you!

You've claimed another person I knew. I hate you. You took my Nina Francis too. Silverchair said it best in their song Israel's Son....

"Hate is what I feel for you,
And I want you to know that I want you dead."

Cake & chicken

I married a man who didn't like to cook and really didn't know how nor did he show interest in it. I was perfectly fine with that since my father has cooked for a living his whole life. Personal I don't care for guys cooking since they tend to be more messy then girls. But today my Mr. Rosas made fried chicken with cheddar bacon mashed potatoes. It was good being that it was his first time. He made bread pudding with fresh whipped cream last week that was super good. The non cooking left handed with two left feet Mexican american guitar playing drummer I married is actually trying to cook. Which is good but can get expensive and messy. He also made chocolate cake which was yummy even though he frosted it while it was still to hot. But it was his first time making one. I wonder if my son will take interest in cooking? Trust me if he doesn't I will be perfectly fine with it =]. Thanks Izaak for coming over to join us!

Last time I checked a child was made by a mother & a father, not just a mother.

I've been kinda blah lately these past few days with writing and today I stumbled upon a article by accident. It's rather interesting. This has been a on going issue I have been having for sometime. I have been very adult about it trying to come to a mutual agreement without involving the courts but that hasn't worked. Now I'm trying the court way but because they can't serve my sons father since I have no known address for him it still isn't working. Ugh! Ugh! Ugh! What to do next? I don't know. All I can do is pray and be patient, thankful that we have never been $50 dollars short on food or rent..Thank God. If I was I would still get no help from my sons father. Anyways here is the article. Now remember if the saying on the shirt below offends you then do your job... You know the one you promised that child since the first day you held them. Live up to it so your guilt can stop haunting you.

Criminal penalties for failure to pay child support
Philippine News : Friday, August 12 2011

"Both the federal and state must prove that whether or not a parent has the financial ability to comply with the child support order is critical in their prosecutions.

Why are the states and the federal government using criminal penalties for delinquent child support obligors? Both state and federal laws targeting parents who willfully fail to pay child support to be criminally prosecuted are gaining support in the legislatures, the courts, and the public. Child support experts and policymakers are differentiating between those who “can’t pay” and those who “won’t pay.” Nationwide, the states are developing and using more aggressive enforcement mechanisms to pursue those who simply refuse to pay.

A United States 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling captures the prevailing judicial sentiment against evading parents: “it is just as much a violation of the CFRA [Child Support Recovery Act] for a non-custodial parent to fail to pay child support where his refusal to work is motivated by sloth, a change of lifestyles or pursuit of new career objectives. For most people, bring children into the world does limit life choices by imposing certain long-term financial obligations. U.S. v. Ballek, 1999 WL 125955 (9th Circ. (Alaska), Mar. 11, 1999) (NO. 97-30326).

State and federal prosecutors target parents who purposely hide assets, avoid employment or otherwise shirk their responsibilities. States such as Kentucky, Ohio and Virginia, have conducted high profile trials and “sting” operations to locate and prosecute parents with large child support debts – in some cases several hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Federal agencies involved are the Inspector General’s Office and Office of the Child Support Enforcement of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, along with the U.S. Department of Justice, created Project Save our Children (PSOC) to create a comprehensive health and human services and criminal justice response to this issue. Most of the parents arrested and prosecuted by PSOC are wealthy individuals with substantial assets.

Many are asking isn’t child support a matter of civil law (family law) and not criminal? Yes, the child support guidelines and enforcement mechanisms are civil in nature, but failure to pay child support may subject a parent to criminal sanctions in three situations:

1) Prosecution under a state statute. In California, Penal Code Section 270 states in part, “If a parent of a minor child willfully omits, without lawful excuse, to furnish necessary clothing, food, shelter or medical attendance, or other remedial care for his or her child, he or she is guilty of misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding $2,000, 1 year county jail, or both.”

2) Prosecution under federal law. The Deadbeat Parents Punishment Act was passed in 1998 and signed by President Bill Clinton and made it a federal crime to cross state lines in order to avoid child support payments. If a parent who failed to pay child support a minimum of $5,000 for a period of at least 1 year or if the parent owes at least $10,000, the parent may be charged with a felony and, if convicted, may be sentenced to up to 2 years in state prison.

3) Because child support orders are official court orders, a parent disobeying the order risks contempt of court.

What if the parent doesn’t have the resources to pay the child support? The inability to pay defense must be raised by the obligor. Additionally, instead of letting your arrears increase, a motion for downward modification based on change of circumstances must be immediately filed.

Both the federal and state must prove that whether or not a parent has the financial ability to comply with the child support order is critical in their prosecutions. In other words, in order to obtain a conviction, the parent has the resources to comply and simply chose not to do so.

Before you face prosecution, parents who truly lack the ability must confer with an attorney to see what options are available besides a modification. Many states offer parents who cannot meet their obligations and have amassed substantial arrears the opportunity to negotiate a payment or substantially decrease their arrears."
