In my head lately has been music by Miss May I and Woe is me thanks to Spotify. I love Spotify they have everything on it. What ever I'm in the mood for music wise is one there. I'm kinda sad my computers speakers aren't louder even though it has BEATS audio. I like my music loud. In the car, house or headphones it has to be loud.
Who know's what would have became of music had Kurt lived and celebrated his 45th birthday today. I will always have a spot in my heart for Nirvana especially Nevermind and their Unplugged in NY. I have killed a few of those CD's and even cassettes.
So long ago, I don't remember when
That's when they say I lost my only friend
Well they said she died easy of a broken heart disease
As I listened through the cemetery trees
I seen the sun comin' up at the funeral at dawn
The long broken arm of human law
Now it always seemed such a waste
She always had a pretty face
So I wondered how she hung around this place
Chorus:
Hey, come on try a little
Nothing is forever
There's got to be something better than
In the middle
But me & Cinderella,
We put it all together
We can drive it home
With one headlight
She said it's cold
It feels like Independence Day
And I can't break away from this parade
But there's got to be an opening
Somewhere here in front of me
Through this maze of ugliness and greed
And I seen the sun up ahead
At the county line bridge
Sayin' all there's good and nothingness is dead
We'll run until she's out of breath
She ran until there's nothin' left
She hit the end-it's just her window ledge
(chorus)
Well this place is old
It feels just like a beat up truck
I turn the engine, but the engine doesn't turn
Well it smells of cheap wine & cigarettes
This place is always such a mess
Sometimes I think I'd like to watch it burn
I'm so alone, and I feel just like somebody else
Man, I ain't changed, but I know I ain't the same
But somewhere here in between the city walls of dyin' dreams
I think her death it must be killin' me
I figured I would make a list of who I have seen preform live. Some I have seen more then just once. Some I didn't care to much to see but they happened to be the opening act for somebody who I did really want to see. I know nobody cares for this but I love adding to this list. I'm a music person. I have been since I was little. I'm that girl that always has to shower with radio on. I dreamed of going to concerts since I was about 8 or 9. I remember being so jealous seeing my older sister go. I still remember standing line once with my friend waiting to buy tickets for Almost acoustic Xmas the year Bush was playing. I was sad when tickets sold out while we stood in line. Then I won tickets on KROQ to go see Lenny Kravitz and Buckcherry which I ended up giving to my sister because the boyfriend I had claimed he didn't like that music because it was from the devil ( yet he would listen to rap by Eminem and Dr. Dre full of cuss words) and that he didn't want me going to concerts. God I was stupid for ever listening to him. It was because of him too that I didn't go to my first concert till I was 20. Yes 20. When I finally did though it was awesome. I still have some bands I really want to see and some I have seen that I would definitely go see over and over. Here's my list so far:
