In 2007 I discovered a website by the name of Inkednation.com. At that time Myspace.com was popular. Now it's Facebook. Inkednation was like myspace and facebook but for people with tattoos. When it came to myspace I never added any friends to my friends list if I didn't know them in person. But inkednation was different, I didn't know anybody. Mostly due to the fact that I hadn't finally acted on my dream of getting tattooed till the year before. This was interesting and because of it I have made a couple good friends. I even married and had a baby with a guy I met on there. Yes we are still happily married. But I wanted to make a little list of some of the other great people I met on there.
First we will start with Johnny Fever. He is a custom tattoo artist here in Vegas and if it wasn't for his Inkednation profile I may have not found him. I set up a tattoo appointment with him and the rest is history. He is the man behind my valentine candy tattoo, he's done all the work I have on my right leg and the flower tattoos on the side of my boobs.

Next on the list we have "Moocher" Omar. He's from Anaheim and turns out he would come race his motorcycle in the small little town I use to live in and invited me and my son to hang out with his friends one day when they came out to race. Technically he should have the same last name as me but his mom gave him hers instead. We've been friends ever since. He went to my little girls first birthday party and he has even came over just to play video games with my son. He calls my son his godson.

Don't think I only made guy friends off Inkednation. I also made girl friends. Rosie was the first one I met in person. What can I say she's pretty awesome. We both share a love for boys with tattoos and Sailor Jerry rum..mmmmmmm. I got to meet her in person one day when she came out to Vegas. After that I would try to see her when ever I would go out to Cali. It's always a good time when we hang out.

Inkednation friend number 3.. Bruce... Bruce dangerous. Don't let the mean face scare you. He does smile. Bruce is actually really nice and sarcastic. On one of my many California trips I had so free time and met up with Bruce at Starbucks. Man did he share some interesting stories with me that day. He didn't even order coffee. I think he drank water. He even put up going to my very Hispanic baby shower. He's a good guy. Looks very mean but he's harmless..

Now for my next Inkednation amigo. Marcos of the great Burque NM. We had been friends on Inkednation for a while and one day he came to Vegas with his bff Adrian who by the way is also cool and I got to hang out with them at Studio 54. As me and Marcos say " not everyone can have famous blood like us " hahaha. He is the one that gave my husband the nickname of "the boytoy". Even though he lives so far he is still a awesome friend. If you text him he will respond. Thank you Marcos.

Then we have Lucky. His real name is Jose. He's the the Piercer with no piercings.. and owns his own tattoo shop. I got to finally meet him in person at the Pomona Expo. I even got a free shirt...lol.

The same day I met Lucky in person I also got to meet a girl from NM. Her name is Scarlet.. or EviL Cherry. She's got the most awesome hair and is a kick ass hair dresser who now owns her own shop out there.

The last friend off Inkednation that I met in person was Andrea. It took a while because she's from the great awesome Canada. So she's pretty far from Vegas. But I finally got to meet her in person last year and she even came this year too. I wish she did live closer. Maybe someday we can move to Canada. But we still have facebook to keep in touch.

Saving the best for last. Usually when I eat something I like I save the best for last. I met Carlos on Inkednation. He lived in California and one weekend while I was out there for Warped Tour we agreed to meet for the first time the next day after Warped. Warped tour ended around 10 so we changed our plans and met that night. He picked me up and we drove to the beach. We talked about music, our kids, relationships and that night I told him if anyone ever wants to have a long distance relationship somebody would eventually have to move. After a good night of conversation he dropped me off and I leaned over to HUG him and he stuck his tongue in my mouth!! Omg so was not expecting that! I thought he was cute but I wasn't expecting to make out with him. It was a awesome kiss. We ended up dating and he eventually moved to Nevada, we got married and had our pretty lil Mia Monroe. At first he didn't like telling people we met online but one day I told him it's not a big deal tons of people meet online. Geez it's not like we might on some creepy site like "craigslist" lol.
